Therapeutic Massage

What Is Holistic/Therapeutic Massage? Holistic massage combines many skilled techniques with natural sensitivity in order to meet the needs of each individual as a whole. Physically, this can relax tight muscles and improve circulation, nervous function and joint mobility. This increases the body's fluidity and can ease many short and long term ailments. At an emotional level, massage can provide the caring, non-intrusive touch we have longed for. Regular massage will help to relax tight and tense muscles, remove fatigue, calm the nervous system, improve digestion, circulation and lymphatic drainage of waste. It also helps to promote a deeper and more natural breathing pattern, induce sleep, increase appetite and lift ones spirit. Because many toxins are released, it's important to drink plenty of water after a massage session to help eliminate these toxins from the body.
